Procedure Technique
Prior to your injection procedure, one of our injectables coordinators will meet with you to gain insight into your aesthetic goals and decide which product will best deliver them. For the actual procedure, topical numbing cream will be applied as an anesthetic to ease the discomfort of the injection. Your injector will use their experience to determine the amount of filler that is necessary and will slowly and gradually inject it via a small needle. Half or an entire syringe could be used, depending on the desired result.
What To Expect
Dermal fillers can be injected by our Registered Nurse Injectors in our Salina, KS location. Due to the use of the anesthetic, the process for most patients is mildly uncomfortable and does not require downtime. You can expect bruising and swelling immediately after, but these symptoms will fade away quickly. Results can last from three months to a full year based on the type of filler used and the area of injection. Touch-ups may be needed to maintain results.
