How Is FaceTite Performed?
Due to its minimally invasive nature, local anesthesia is all that is required in preparation for the FaceTite procedure. Once administered, a small, non-aspirating cannula will be placed under the skin. This cannula uses radiofrequency to transfer thermal energy to the skin, causing it to contract. Sessions normally last about 45 minutes per treated area.
What Is the Recovery Process For FaceTite?
Patients will be able to return home after their procedure. After a day of rest, patients can get up and resume their day. However, it could take 3 – 6 days for swelling and discoloration to subside. During this recovery time, compression garments should be used to stimulate healing and improve results. Strenuous exercise and activity should be avoided for at least two weeks to reduce the risk of damaging the treated area.
While some results may be visible immediately, most patients don’t begin to see results until about 3 – 8 weeks after surgery when the swelling has subsided, and the face has settled into its new shape. What Is AccuTite?
AccuTite® is the device Dr. Lucaci utilizes to perform RF skin tightening at his practice. It is the smallest, minimally invasive radiofrequency contraction device on the market. The device functions by using a technology called radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL), which works to melt fat and oil under the skin while simultaneously contracting the surface of the skin. This is all able to be performed without a knife or scalpel, and only requires the use of a local anesthetic.
